~TAKING IT ALL IN STRIDE ~
A TRUST WALKFeeling overwhelmed?
Well, you're not alone! Getting through the trials of life require A Trust Walk in the dark sometimes. I don't think we are created to walk this path alone either. Some have husbands or wives, some have children, some even have their pets to share the journey with, but one thing is for certain: we ALL have the Holiest Spirit sent by God to guide us and comfort us along the way so that we are NEVER alone on A TRUST WALK! |

An Introduction to "A Trust Walk."
Do you have TRUST ISSUES? I didn't think I did until I was given the task (and challenge) as a young adult to learn more about TRUST. I looked up the definition of trust in the dictionary to help me understand the true meaning of the word. I found 11 verbs and verb tenses, 1 adjectives and 11 nouns. Here are the first three of the 11 nouns:
1. Reliance on the integrity, strength, ability, surety, etc., of a person or thing; confidence.
2. Confident expectation of something; hope.
3. Confidence in the certainty of future payment for property or goods received; credit.
Those three alone could deem a lifetime of study! This was an intriguing beginning that was quite encouraging to research more... CONFIDENCE is the first word that jumped out and stuck in my brain.... CONFIDENCE....hmmm...OK?
I read the synonyms: Trust, assurance, confidence imply a feeling of security. Trust implies instinctive unquestioning belief in and reliance upon something: to have trust in one's parents.Confidence implies conscious trust because of good reasons, definite evidence, or past experience: to have confidence in the outcome of events. Assurance implies absolute confidence and certainty: to feel an assurance of victory.

- I thought, "OH SHOOT! I have TRUST issues!" If I was to be completely honest with myself, I had to admit I had trust issues :O This just escalated from intrigue to intervention!!! Because I was challenged to do this new soul revealing research by a man of God, [more like an angel of God because I had JUST met the man and he essentially new nothing about me-in the natural] I had to ask myself if I REALLY trusted God like I thought and said I did?
THEN, I read the antonyms of TRUST: disbelief, distrust, uncertainty, mistrust, doubt...wait...what?...doubt?!? DOUBT?!! Doubt is the opposite of trust! Whoa...my heart dropped! I DOUBT GOD?! NOOOO!!!!! Do I? Certainly not! I had to get to the bottom of this personal accusation of myself.
My discoveries still astound me to this day. This is why A Trust Walk was formed; to encourage others to dig deep down inside their soul corners to see if there are trust walk issues that keep you from your walk in truth and spiritual security. There is more of course, but if we don't believe things are true, then how can we have confidence or reliance on the integrity, strength, ability, surety, etc., of our Heavenly Father? Or anyone else for that matter? How can we feel secure in going forth to overcome whatever barriers our future trials and tribulations present? Yikes! Who can we trust enough to talk about these issues with or that can be there when our honesty about what's really inside of us dumbs the inevitable guilt trip on us and lies that we can't be forgiven? SO many deep questions that looking up one simple word unearthed! Another great discovery through this is...I wasn't alone with these feelings! YOUR NOT ALONE either! It takes A Trust Walk with God to help us through the dark uncertain shadows in our lives. We CAN overcome them though. That is the strongest confidence builder for me :)
